Applications are invited for the below mentioned positions to be deployed for works at Tata Steel Kalinganagar (TSK). The final selected candidates shall be on the payroll of Tata Steel Technical Services Limited (TSTSL) and are liable for deployment in any of it’s location.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Candidate must be:

• Matriculate and

• ITI in Electrical or Mechanical with AITT/NAC certificate from a reputed/recognized institute.

(Candidates with Part Time/Correspondence/Distance Learning will not be eligible)

Age

Candidate should not be more than 35 Years as on 1st October 2023

Special Consideration

• Preference will be given to the candidates with Odisha domicile (Domicile certificate must be uploaded during apply).

• Female candidates shall be preferred.

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experiences in Steel Plant process like sinter plant, coke plant, pellet plant, blast furnaces etc.

Desirable Experience

• Candidate with experience in inbound and outbound logistic of Steel Industry will be given preference.

• Knowledge in SAP software like GRN processing, Invoice Verification, Inventory tracking, Production Planning & Material Management module shall be preferred.

• Should have good communication skills in English, Hindi, Odia and other languages, if any

Job Description

• Knowledge of bulk Raw Material handling system eg. Wagon tippler, stacker cum reclaimer, crusher, screen operation, vibrofeeders, conveyor belt operation, hydraulics system, yard management etc

• Knowledge of heavy vehicle fleet management and maintenance like loader, dozer excavator, dumpers etc

• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of locomotives, railway track-line maintenance, signaling and transmission system, rail yard operation, wagon maintenance etc.

• Need to manage shift operations of RMHS/Inbound operations/railway tracks and associated equipment maintenance/fleet management including manpower management.

• Ensuring quality of raw material during feeding and no mixing of material in the yard.

• To manage the shift operations of logistics facilities.

• Drive digital initiatives to track, monitor and achieve the internal targets and benchmarking.

• Hands-on knowledge of computer skills like MS office. Preparation and analysis of key operating parameters

• Ensure safety & environment compliance at workplace

Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for suitable selection process including written test / Skill test, personal interview.

• All selected candidates will have to be declared medically fit as per the Company’s medical fitness standard before their appointment.

• All selected candidatures will undergo Background Verification before their appointment.

Emoluments

• The emoluments and benefits will be as per Company’s rule applicable for the position and commensurate with qualification and experience.

• The Cost to Company (CTC) shall be in the range of Rs. 2.50 LPA to Rs.2.75 LPA. Performance based variable pay shall be paid in addition to the fixed salary component as mentioned above.

• Medical coverage to family members, Social Security benefits shall be extended additionally, as per the companies’ norms.

• Candidates possessing 4 years or more of relevant experience will be additionally compensated as per norms
